About Us

Unique Paris was founded in 2010 by 2 longtime friends: Carine and Alex.

Carine is a true Parisian. She has lived for over 20 years in Paris before moving to Nice (French Riviera) and Germany for her studies (she graduated from a top business school called EDHEC). She spent the 1st part of her career in the automobile industry. After 8 years in Germany, she decided in 2010 to start a few companies including Unique Paris and Tours For Foodies (private food tours). She is passionate about her city, loves chocolate and her two little daughters Constance (1 year and half) and Victoria (2 years and half).

Alex is also a true parisian and graduated from the same business school as Carine. He worked for 6 years in investment banking in Paris and in London for JPMorgan, Alexandre is passionate about Paris monuments and districts (his favorites are Montmartre and the Marais), travel (he travelled around the world for 9 months and 16 countries in 2009) and about entrepreneurship (he has new business ideas everyday!).

Obviously, since 2010, our guide team has expanded and we now have 15 licensed guides. Most of them are native Parisians and extremely enthusiastic about showing you the wonders of the City of Lights. Being taken on a private tour by one of our guides will be a truly enjoyable, stimulating, exciting and amusing experience. You will feel like being accompanied by a friend, a local, someone who knows the city you are visiting in depth. The enthusiasm of our guides in showing you the jewels of Paris will be overwhelming and contagious!
